Piñatex overlays line the RFG package. The natural fabric is derived from the waste products of pineapple farming and combines with hemp laces and partially plant-based mesh for a sustainable look and feel. These are shoes with purpose. For the uppers, leather is replaced with piñatex and fused with recycled fabrics. Plant-based mesh is also used in places, and hemp laces add an earthy feel. Tonal sage, artichoke and natural colours reflect the bounty of nature, and the pineapple tongue tab references the ethos of the planet and a summer outdoors.
